Overall a great venue, great seating, awesome staff!! I FONT UNDERSTAND WHY, SINCE THEY ARE GOING TO CHECK THE 4圆 PURSE ANYWAY AND YOUR GOING TO WALK THROUGH METAL DETECTORS ANYWAY. SO MANY PEOPLE HAD TO WALK BACK TO THEIR CARS TO RETURN PURSES. Now the rest will be in caps: PURSE SIZE IS 4 INCHES BY 6 INCHES. The staff was welcoming and very helpful with questions. There are elevators on both ends of the lobby. Sears are on the 1st floor, Box seats on the 2nd and if you have a balcony seat in the 200s that's on the 3rd floor. Smart Financial Center is a great size not too big and not tiny and cramped. The venue itself is beautiful, I can't imagine a bad seat in the house. Henry went well above and beyond to help me recover tickets that were lost on a dead cell phone.Įasy parking, but know that they manipulate traffic as you come into the center, so expect cones and roads to be blocked off but it was an easy drive in and an easy drive out. Let me start by thanking Henry who works for Smart Financial Center for his help in resending my tickets via email. You will not be disappointed in this mall. They have an excellent salon, Visible Changes near Dillard’s and they take walk in appointments. I personally like parking in garage by Dillard’s on a rainy or hot day. There is covered parking near the department stores. They have several ice cream shops, cookies and pretzels. They have a great selection of fast food restaurants in the food court section in the middle of the mall. There is a Target with a mall entrance! They have an area near the skating rink for children to run and play as well as a cozy area with a fireplace and comfortable large leather chairs to relax in. My favorite is California Pizza Kitchen and Cheesecake Factory. They have a great food court with a couple amusement rides for the children, ice skating and a movie theater. They offer a wide variety of stores for all ages. The stores are great! They have great department stores to pull people in for the smaller stores. They have done a great job of keeping it maintained. I have been shopping at this mall my entire life. We will definitely be visiting this park again and again. Park volunteers and rangers were very friendly and very knowledgeable. You can learn about the history of the park there too. The observatory is a nice bonus, but make sure you get tickets for the evening events well in advance!įinally, the nature center is a wonderful place to see live snakes, baby alligators, spiders, glass lizards, and hummingbirds. The size of the pad makes backing in an RV a lot easier than usual and also offers a convenient place for additional guests to park. And speaking of the campsites, the pads for RVs are the widest I've seen at a state park, anywhere. I don't remember a collection of such magnificent trees in a park so abundant and accessible, including at the campsites. The trees in this park are massive and very old. Herons, ducks, Roseate Spoonbills, and hawks were all sighted in a single day within hours. If you are into bird watching I strongly recommend a stop here. The variety and population of birds in this park is spectacular. We saw about a dozen in the course of a day. Where to begin?! The wildlife, the trees, the scenery, the nature center, the observatory and the campsites all come together to form one of the most comprehensive and enjoyable state parks I've ever been to in Texas.Īlligators of all sizes are prolific in this park, if you don't see several you didn't try very hard.
